Lovely short stay at the dorsett. Service was great, I received a complimentary room upgrade and late check out which was amazing. The facilities so clean, modern and welcoming. Loved the pool and lounging area. Room was lovely. Had everything I needed. Jinbar was busy but perfect for a quick drink. Didn't eat there though so can't comment on that. Perfectly located too, close to major venues and public transport links.

Booked a 5 night stay in this lovely hotel through Luxury Escapes. Our deluxe twin room was clean, spacious and comfortable with the cushioned window seat a beautiful bonus. The daily breakfast was extensive and varied with the pancake maker and mini pastries a highlight. We relaxed at the end of each day with a drink in Jin Bar. Room service was quick, food was hot and delicious. Indoor pool and spa were great and loved the towels were provided at the pool. Whilst at the western end of the CBD we found the location to be perfect with a tram stop at the end of the street that took you anywhere in the CBD for free. The epitome of any good property is its staff. This is where the Dorsett shines. From the moment we walked in the door nothing was a problem. The staff were friendly, accommodating and take pride in making sure you enjoy your stay. Compliments to Elizabeth on the front desk, Mark who helped us recover souvenirs that blew away in wild winds the day checked out and a special shout out to Naveen (Food & Beverage Manager) who greeted us every morning at breakfast with a natural smile. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Dorsett Melbourne. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture of acknowledging my birthday it made the experience even more special. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. I also really enjoyed the facilities, especially the pool, sauna, and steam room, which added a relaxing touch to the stay. The location is perfect, with everything conveniently nearby, and it’s just a short walk to Southern Cross Station, making it very easy to get around. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again!

Stayed here for 1 night and had a really great experience. Located right in the city, the hotel was very convenient. The room was spacious, and the room service was excellent. Really enjoyed the breakfast — they had good vegetarian options as well. Valet parking was available, which made things even easier. The gym, indoor pool, and all the facilities were amazing. Thank you to Dorsett Melbourne for such a wonderful stay!

I had such a lovely experience at Dorsett Melbourne, especially because of Khushi at reception. I was very sick during my stay, and she went above and beyond to help me. She helped me with my luggage, checked in on me to make sure I was okay, and even paid for Panadol for me when my card was not working and I could not buy it from the vending machine. Even when I offered to pay her back, she kindly refused. She also gave me drink vouchers when I signed up as a member. She is such a sweet, caring, and thoughtful person. Dorsett Melbourne is truly lucky to have staff like her. I really hope to stay at the hotel again because my experience was amazing, and all the staff were so good. A big shoutout to Khushi for her kindness and outstanding service.

Traveled with my daughter for a city staycay for her birthday. They made her night so special, we got a high room, balloons, teddies and a special card and choccies on her bed. They really made her night. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool is great - we got a sweet spot and had the pool to ourselves. Only negative we found was a light that flashes above the bed (we had the 2 double beds) and the door had a decent gap (one side) so the hall light peaked through and also noted the sound to hallway was a bit more than I remember from hotel rooms. Breakfast was great - their auto coffee machine was a hard pass for me but couldn't fault anything else. You can order eggs to your liking easily and the pancake machine was a hit with my daughter.
